Do you charge an attendance fee? For events in excess of 100 people attending there is no attendance fee charged. For events with fewer people we may charge a small fee which may be refunded if a pre-set minimum sales amount is acheived on the night.
Do you pay commission? Commission may be paid to charitable events organised by registered charities or children's organisation by agreement. We do not offer a commission for any other type of event.
Are you insured? We are fully insured for £5 million for public liability and all our equipment is PAT tested on an annual basis.
How much space do you need? We have a number of studio solutions to cater for most space requirements but the minimum requirement is 4mx5m. Additional space is required for our printing lab if prints are required on the night.
How do I send you a file? If you need to send us an image or logo then you can upload the file HERE. Max file size is 2500kb. You may want to Zip the file to reduce it's size.
Do you accept Credit/Debit cards? At the event we accept cash, cheques (with guarantee card) and all major credit and debit cards except American Express. For web sales we use Paypal to process card payments (you do not need a Paypal account to use this) as it's free to use and secure.
What format are the photos in? All Wye Valley Events photos are in JPG format.
What is FotoAlbum? FotoAlbum is an optional but free function, that allows you to create a Photo shortlist or Album of your favourite photos. This makes it easier for you to select photos for purchase, or to share with friends by email.
When will my photos be available for viewing? Your images will be available for viewing within 48 hours of your event.
Are there any restrictions on my use of the Wye Valley Events photo's that I download or prints I buy? Yes. Wye Valley Events do not allow the redistribution of our photos, copies to be made, or allow the use of our photos within products that are mass distributed in any type of archive format or for commercial publication. The copyright for the image will always remain the property of Wye Valley Events. We use TinEye technology to search the internet for our copywritten images. If you have purchased an image for immediate download you may make as many prints from the file and use it for your personal website, blog or social networking site.
Can I use an image for a web site, publication or other commercial use Wye Valley Events can offer very reasonable prices for commercial use or publication but you can use it for your personal website and for use on social networking sites. Please contact us for further details.
My Pictures were damaged in transit As long as you have informed us within 7 days of deliver (as per checkout T&C's) then a replacement set of images will be sent free of charge upon return of the damaged prints. Wye Valley Events will reimburse your return postage costs.
Do you offer refunds? Any refund requests will be dealt with under the Distance Selling Regulations 2000, details of which you will find in your order confirmation e-mail. No refunds will be considered for any electronic downloaded images once you have downloaded them. |
